1. About this policy
BizDoc Maker provides online tools for creating invoices, quotations, delivery notes and receipts, together with practical business-document guides. This Privacy Policy describes the information involved when you use BizDoc Maker and the choices available to you.
2. Document information you enter
When you create a document, you may enter information such as your business name and contact details, customer or recipient details, item descriptions, prices, tax information, payment references, notes, logos and signatures.
In the current version of BizDoc Maker, document data and saved business-profile information are stored locally in your browser using browser storage technologies such as IndexedDB, local storage and session storage. This local document data is used to operate features such as saved documents, numbering, document conversion, preferences and reusable business details.
BizDoc Maker does not currently provide a cloud account or cloud backup for these locally saved documents. Clearing browser data, changing browsers or devices, or using private/incognito browsing may cause locally stored information to be unavailable or deleted.
3. Logos, signatures and other uploaded images
If you add a company logo or authorized signature image to a document, the image is processed for the document tool and stored locally in browser storage for the relevant BizDoc Maker features. Avoid uploading images containing information you do not need in the document.
4. Information when you contact us
If you email support@bizdocmaker.com, we may receive your email address, name and any information you include in your message. We use that information to respond to your enquiry, provide support, investigate reported problems and improve BizDoc Maker.
Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, banking credentials or unnecessary confidential customer information by email.
5. Technical and website information
Like most websites, the hosting and network services used to deliver BizDoc Maker may process standard technical information needed to serve and protect the website, such as IP address, browser or device information, request details, timestamps and security or server logs. The exact information retained can depend on the hosting and infrastructure providers used by the website.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
BizDoc Maker uses browser storage technologies to provide document-making functionality and remember certain settings. We also use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand website visits, page usage and overall performance. Where required, analytics-related storage is controlled through our cookie consent preferences. Visitors can accept or reject optional analytics storage. We may introduce advertising services, including Google AdSense, subject to applicable consent requirements. For more information about cookies, analytics and your choices, please read our Cookie Policy.
7. How we use information
- To provide and maintain BizDoc Maker and its document-making features
- To remember locally saved documents, business details and relevant preferences
- To support document conversions and related workflow features
- To respond to support requests, feedback and corrections
- To maintain website security, reliability and technical performance
- To comply with applicable legal obligations where required
8. Sharing and third-party services
BizDoc Maker does not sell your locally stored document data. Information may be processed by service providers that are necessary to operate the public website or communications, such as hosting, infrastructure and email providers. We may also disclose information where required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the security and rights of BizDoc Maker or others.
9. Data retention and your choices
Locally saved document information remains under the control of your browser and device until you delete documents, clear the relevant browser/site data, or the browser removes that storage. Support emails may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the enquiry, maintain appropriate business records and meet legal or security requirements.
Because browser storage is not a cloud backup, keep downloaded or printed copies of important business documents that you need for your records.
10. International use
BizDoc Maker is intended for users in different countries. Privacy, business-document and record-retention requirements can vary by location. Users are responsible for determining which local requirements apply to their own business records and use of the service.
11. Children’s privacy
BizDoc Maker is a business-document service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly design the service to collect personal information from children.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when BizDoc Maker’s features, technology, service providers or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will show when the policy was most recently revised.
13. Contact
